Client & Brief

Our client's vision was to establish an architectural office that caters to the distinctive needs of the profession, acknowledging that it deviates from the conventional office setup.

The project aimed to create an architectural workspace that accommodates all stages of an architect's workflow. It involved designing three primary zones: one for architects, one for the principal architect, and a dedicated area for client interactions.

Design Concept

The core design concept revolved around ergonomic precision, ensuring that architects could work comfortably at their desks for extended periods. We introduced arches as a favorite design element, subtly defining spaces and offering potential as a backdrop for future video recordings. Sustainability played a crucial role, with reclaimed wood extensively used in the design.

Design Elements

Several distinctive design elements defined this architectural workspace. The ergonomic workstations stood as the cornerstone of the design, promoting productivity and well-being. Hidden storage cubbies were seamlessly integrated, not only serving functional purposes but also enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the office. The use of arches was not limited to spatial definition; they also had the potential to become striking backdrops for future video content, aligning with the firm's forward-thinking approach.

The strategic placement of expansive windows in the principal architect's room framed picturesque views of lush greenery enveloping the building, infusing the workspace with a sense of natural tranquility. The conference room was designed to seamlessly transition into the garden, welcoming clients into a space that offered glimpses of their future collaborations with Auroma Architecture.

Sustainability was a paramount consideration in the design process. Reclaimed wood, chosen for its eco-friendly attributes, featured prominently throughout the office, aligning perfectly with Auroma's commitment to sustainability. Valuable book collections found a dignified resting place in the floor-to-ceiling book library, showcasing both functionality and aesthetics.

Additionally, the design addressed diverse storage needs through custom wardrobes, ensuring that everything, from stationery to materials and awards, had its designated space. Even the outdoor areas were meticulously planned with user comfort in mind, with a dining area nestled amidst greenery and thoughtfully designed outdoor seating areas, seamlessly integrating the garden with the office space
